Shows
Students will compete with the Principal and the assistant at various shows (dressage, x-country, showing etc) where they will get hands on experience in show turnout and support. Students will also be required to help out at events, such as being jump judges for x-country shows, scribes at dressage shows, as well as time keepers at the showjumping. The Plettenberg Equestrian Academy is also in the process of putting in new arenas, enabling us to hold top class shows of our own.
We have had a very eventful show months over the past few months. All riders and horses were in placings from 1st - 4th. We are looking forward to a very eventful show year. Goodluck to all the riders and horses.
We took our youngstock to their first show on the 14th of March. All of them did very well and am looking forward to them competing this year.
